Getting started

How do I create an account?
Visit the registration page and sign up with email + password, Google, or Apple. You'll get a verification email — click the link to activate your account.
How do I log my first workout?
Open the app and tap Today (mobile) or Workouts (desktop). Pick exercises, log sets + reps + weight as you go. Your data syncs automatically across devices.
Can I import data from another app?
Not yet. You can manually backfill historical workouts via the Quick Log feature. Bulk import is on the roadmap.

Billing + subscriptions

What does Personal Pro include?
AI plan generator, form tips, plateau buster, AI session summaries, and video form analysis. Free tier keeps all the core tracking features forever — Pro is purely for the AI surfaces.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Manage your subscription at /billing — opens a Stripe-hosted Customer Portal where you can update payment, change plans, or cancel. No retention dark patterns.
What if my gym pays for everyone?
If you're a member of a gym on the Pro or Enterprise tier, you automatically get all Pro features without a personal subscription. Pause your personal Pro if you have one — we won't double-charge.

Gyms + organizations

How do I set up my gym on Hands-on Fitness?
Request a demo at /for-gyms. We'll spin up a branded subdomain (yourgym.handsonfitness.app), help configure your branding, and walk through the admin tools.
How do members join my gym?
Tenant admins invite members from /admin/members — single email or bulk CSV import. Members click the link in their invite email, accept, and they're in.
Can I customize the look + feel?
Yes — /admin/branding lets you set your display name, logo, primary color, and email-from address. The accent color flows through every member-facing screen for orgs on the Pro plan.

Privacy + data

Where is my data stored?
On Supabase Postgres in US East. Backups are retained for 30 days. We're a US-only platform; EU + other regions are deferred until the volume justifies the compliance overhead.
How do I export my data?
Visit /settings/data to download a JSON snapshot of everything we hold about you — workouts, body metrics, photos (URLs), nutrition logs, etc. Satisfies GDPR Art. 15 + 20.
How do I delete my account?
Same page — /settings/data has a delete-account flow with a 30-day grace window. Data is permanently purged after the grace period passes.

Apps + sync

Do you have a mobile app?
The web app is fully optimized for mobile + installable as a PWA. Standalone Android/iOS apps are in the queue.
Does it work offline?
Read-only access is offline-capable via service worker; new logging requires connectivity. Full offline-edit drain is planned.
How do I sync with Apple Health / Google Fit / wearables?
Visit /integrations to subscribe a calendar feed, set up wearable sync, and configure third-party connections.
